The difference isn’t talent. It’s methodology, statistics, and structure — which no one formally teaches you.

The residency angle
Your residency portfolio is built in clinical years — not at application.
DHA and DOH residency portfolios score peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations directly. One publishable case report this semester is worth more than a panic later. Starting early is the entire advantage.

Mustafa Sarmad Al Hamdani · Founder
Who’s behind Medhira
Built by someone who’s done this, not just taught it.
Medhira is founded by Mustafa Sarmad Al Hamdani, an MBBS graduate of Gulf Medical University. His own research — nine published, peer-reviewed manuscripts spanning case reports, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and cohort studies across pulmonology, genetics, geriatrics, gastroenterology, and infectious disease — is the same process he now mentors students through. Five more studies are currently submitted or underway, including cross-sectional studies on thyroid disease and travel health behaviours, a systematic review for Frontiers in Endocrinology, and a meta-analysis on antenatal care for Women and Birth. He has presented at conferences across the UAE, including an award-winning presentation at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
“I’ve sat exactly where you’re sitting — staring at a blank manuscript with no idea where to start. Medhira is the mentorship I wish I’d had.”

FAQ
Honest answers, asked first.
No — and anyone who promises that is either naive or selling something you don’t want your name on. Peer review belongs to editors. What we guarantee is a methodologically sound, properly structured, ethically authored manuscript that’s genuinely submittable — and the skills to keep doing it.
The opposite. By ICMJE’s own authorship criteria, a mentor who guides and edits but doesn’t author is correctly non-authorial — that’s our role by design. You write every word; we make sure it’s the right word.
One published case report is a permanent, scored line on your DHA/DOH residency portfolio, and the skill compounds across every future project. If the full package isn’t right this term, start with a workshop or a scoping session — same method, smaller step.
Clinical-year students across the UAE — University of Sharjah, Gulf Medical University, MBRU, Khalifa, UAEU, Ajman, RAK Medical, and Dubai Medical College.
We guide your application, but approvals are obtained through your own institution under its governance. We never submit on your behalf or assume authorship.
